Among the many polluting industries, textiles has a larger share in terms of its impact on noise, air and wastewater. It is therefore useful to study the environmental hazards associated with the various processes of textiles. This article discusses noise and airborne pollution. Relevant areas and appropriate remediation procedures are also taken into account.

Ecological degradation takes place in natural fiber from planting to finishing the final product. Distinctive parameters and a suite of possible corrective measures are highlighted. The synthetic fiber industry is no exception to environmental pollution, and therefore attention is drawn to various polluting activities. The management of various textile wastes is also mentioned in this article.
