WE WERE AWARDED OF THE SME SPECIAL AWARD

Saying that they made their first application to İnovaLİG in 2015, Denizli Exporters’ Association Board Member and owner of Evteks Limited Company, İsa Dal; “InovaLIG is a platform where the most innovative companies of Europe are evaluated, run by Germany-based TIM, within the scope of inpruf. In this sense, we can say that it is very important, very serious and very institutionally the highest level. In the first application we made in 2015, we ranked 16th among 488 companies among the ‘Innovation Strategies and Cultures’. We improved ourselves even more in 2016, and we became the 24th among 890 companies. It is said that there were more than a thousand applications in the application we made in 2017. We remained in the top 10 in 2 categories such as innovation strategies and cultures. As a result of the inspection and interview conducted by the delegation from TİM in November, we were told that we were in the top 5. On November 21, we appeared before the ‘Grand Jury’ at the TİM building. The 11 R&D projects we have done in the past and the 15 R&D projects currently in progress, as well as the presentation we made on the strategic innovation culture and infrastructure within our company, were highly appreciated by the ‘Grand Jury’. In the Grand Jury, TİM Chairman Mr. Mehmet Büyükekşi and vice presidents, our Undersecretary, our assistant undersecretary, important investors from the sector, and names from all over Turkey were evaluated by a jury; It was reported that we were in the top 3. We were deemed worthy of the ‘SME Special Award’ at the award ceremony held on December 9 with the patronage and presence of our President.

IT HAS A GREAT MEANING FOR ANADOLU SME

Providing information about the SME Special Award, Dal said, “A SME from Denizli, among the top 50 companies of Turkey and the Istanbul Chamber of Industry, with whom we shared the same stage, can realize these projects without any government support and at the same time be able to reach that platform. is both a great success for Denizli and a great meaning for the Anatolian SME. We have very valuable SMEs within the Anatolian SME, which are very innovative, innovative and can put forward many ideas. However, it is also possible for them to reach these levels.

PROJECTS WE HAVE DONE; FIRST PROJECTS IN THE WORLD

“We believed in this result,” said Dal, adding: “We worked hard as a team. We gave our night to our day. Projects we have done now; first projects in the world. ‘Textile is finished. When it is said that innovation, design, innovation cannot be made in textiles, we said the opposite and this award is the result of this. We will make a sound in the world with some of our patents that will be released in the coming days. Our Grand Jury understood this very well. Thanks to them, they deemed us worthy of the SME Special Award.

A HUGE PRIDE FOR US

Denizli Businessman Isa Dal, award; He received it from the Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci. Indicating that receiving the award from Minister Zeybekci is another source of pride, Dal said, “It is a great honor for us to have our Minister there, to receive an award from the hand of our Minister, and to be greeted by our President sitting across from us and say, ‘We are taking this award to Denizli’.

THE PATENTS WE ISSUE ARE COMMERCIAL PATENTS

Giving clues about Evteks Company’s projects, Dal said, “We have come a long way in determining normal standards and products according to needs. We’re not splitting the atom here, we’re not building a space shuttle. We have focused on products that address daily needs and that also add value, provide technical features, but can be purchased and used up-to-date. Therefore, the products we have made and the patents we have issued are commercializable patents. It’s not sensational, but it will make a lot of noise. But in reality, they are products that can be used in the world. From now on, we look for a huge feature in the clothes of athletes, astronauts and pilots. Now we want to dress thin, but we don’t want to be cold. We want to dress flashy and thick, but we don’t want to sweat. When we sweat in the daily hustle and bustle of the city, we do not want odor to form on us. We are very sensitive to our babies. We concentrate on products with high PH value that are healthy, ecological and do not harm their skin. We try to be realistic. In this way, I do not think that we have achieved the development and future of our country, where more exports will be made, with high added value. At the same time, we are trying to prove that Turkey is a technology center in the world, a center that can produce technology. The most important thing here; is to dream. We; We are a design-supported firm of the Ministry of Economy. We are already making our designs in this direction. This is our most important support in terms of the state. If we can get support for R&D projects; “We believe we can take it much further,” he said.

TURKEY HAS 40 BILLION DOLLARS OF TEXTILE PRODUCTION

Saying, “Textile is not finished, textile will not end,” Dal said: “Turkey has a textile production of 40 billion dollars. It is up to him to increase it to 80, 120. But please, let’s dream a little, but keep our feet on the ground. Let’s be curious, research and give opportunities to young people.”

OUR MOST IMPORTANT DEFICIENCY; ACADEMIC SUPPORT

Underlining that there have been very important movements in Denizli textile recently, Dal said, “Previously, there were no R&D centers. Some of our textile companies have established R&D centers. We currently have 2 R&D centers. We have over 10 design centers. These are important developments. All of this happened within the last year. In fact, we are progressing and developing very fast. Our most important shortcoming is; academic support. The university needs to make very serious breakthroughs in terms of design and come together more with the industry. We need them. They need us too. A design faculty should be established in Denizli as soon as possible and a designer should be trained. Denizli needs designers not only in textile but also in other sectors such as marble industry. I think Denizli needs a Faculty of Fine Arts or a Faculty of Design.”
